SquashPunk is not a company or manufacturer.

SquashPunk is a U.K based initiative with a simple aim: Promote the sport of Squash and raise it's profile in new and perhaps unorthodox ways. It's all about boosting the image of the sport by focusing on style, image and fun. The theory is to try and attract attention to the sport by appealing to non-squash media and public.

Various selective projects will be developed and funds permitting released into the world. These projects will aim to achieve media exposure through television and video on the web (e.g YouTube) and aim to rouse the interest of lifestyle magazines and newspapers. They may also include grass roots sponsorship of youth events, demonstrations and fun or skill challenges – perhaps as support to events.

SquashPunk believes that it's important to reach out and show the world what the sport is all about. We need to promote aspects of Squash that can be fun and attractive to get people playing and stay in the sport.

While the game is in essence competitive – SquashPunk's emphasis isn't on winning or losing but on being remembered for playing attractive squash with skill, style or maybe doing something unconventional such as Play Anywhere.

Demonstration events are so appealing because you see great players playing incredible rallies and shots to please the crowd. Hopefully we can get players to take part in some of these projects or donate shirts/rackets etc as prizes.

SquashPunk is in it's infancy right now and currently operates as a 'side project'. With your help we can hopefully get something really cool going.
